On the move:

travelling from place to place, busy or active all the time

ex1: We're going to be on the move all next week, but we'll call you when we get home.

ex2: He’s always on the move and never has time to talk.

 

Emigrate:

to leave your country and go to live in another country

ex1: My parents are Scottish but they emigrated to Australia.

ex2: What would you miss if you emigrated.

 

Live abroad:

to live in a foreign country

ex1: My brother has lived abroad for ten years so I don't see him much.

ex2: Which country would you move to if you lived abroad.

 

Move house:

to leave your house and go to live in another one

ex1: I've just moved house. Here's my new address.

ex2: How many times have you moved house in your life?

 

Leave home:

when a young person leaves his/her parents' house and goes to live somewhere else

ex1: My sister left home when she was 18 and went to university in York.

ex2: At what age do young people in your country typically leave home?

 

Roam around:

to walk or travel, with no definite purpose

ex1: I spent a lot of holidays just roaming around the countryside, exploring.

ex2: When was the last time you went to a new place and just roamed around without any clear direction?

 

Set off:

to leave at the start of a journey (especially an important, exciting or difficult journey)

ex1: After weeks of planning, we finally set off on our round-the-world trip.

ex2: What time did you set off when you last went on holiday?

 

See someone off:

to go to an airport, train station, etc. to say goodbye to someone who is leaving

ex1: We all cried when we went to see her off at the airport.

ex2: Do you like people to come and see you off at the airport?

 

Be off:

When you are ready to go or you're going to go somewhere very soon

ex1: I'm off to the shops. Is there anything you need?

ex2: Where are you off to after class today?
